You have probably heard of Apple Cider Vinegar and all of its health and dietary benefits, but did you know it can also be used on your dog? Apple cider vinegar as a dietary supplement, acts as a natural digestive aid.  It also keeps your dog’s urinary track functioning properly and even changes the properties in your dog’s urine, preventing it from killing the grass and causing brown or yellow spots in your yard.  The vinegar also has natural antibiotic and antifungal properties, which when applied to your dog’s coat and skin, helps heal and sooth mild skin irritations and inflammations such as those caused by fleas or hotspots.   For internal use, simply add several tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your dog’s food or water on a daily basis.  For external use, prepare a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water and use it on your dog as a final rinse every time you bathe your dog. I also recommend putting some of the solution into a spray bottle and keeping this by your dog crate or dog beds, or some place your dog loves to spend time.  This will help you remember to use it on your dog every day for a healthier, shinier coat and smoother skin.
